At this point in the game, I'm trying not to plan everything right now. Its so hard not to. But there is one roadblock... money. Of course, I would love to go to Michaels right now and buy like crazy. But my bank account kind of stops me, telling me, "YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY YET!" It doesn't have to yell at me... But I have been plotting out all the details fro

Winfrey Point has a blank canvas. I love that! The fireplaces that are on each side of the room are perfect backdrops for cake cutting and toasts. There is also a stage that would be good to put the DJ and maybe even the Bride and Groom family tables up there. In front of the stage could be a perfect place to put the dance floor. There is a room on the side of the building I could put for gifts and different pictures. I'm going to the venue again next Wednesday to check it out again and get more exact measurements so I can get kind of a game plan going, as to where to put tables and a dance floor. I wish I could get more out of customer services as to what they provide, but its owned by the city of Dallas, and they don't give out much.

The centerpieces are going to be so simple and so cheap! Above is an example of what I want. All it is is cans wrapped in yarn, or jars that you use for groceries. I also like the flower thing they have going here, but instead of mix of different flowers, I'm going for a mix of different colored roses (red/pink, red/green, red/cream, red/white, red/orange, and so on).
